I found an interesting free service today that I've sort of incorporated into Sunshine's website. This service lets you view a map with the location of the last 20 visitors to your website marked on it. It updates every couple of hours. I won't put a public link to the map online because the fellow who provides the service unfortunately includes a link to his personal blog beside the map...and his blog contains some rather coarse language to put it mildly. But if anyone is interested in taking a look at the map, e-mail me (tech1@algraff.com) and I'll send you the URL for it. You can click here to view a full size screen capture of one of the maps.

Sure. Let's do it. As long as total strangers can't find where I live. I'm sure it would be interesting to see where our website visitors are from.
The map just pinpoints the city where your Internet provider is located, not your exact location. For example, people logging in with Falcon1 connections are generically shown as "Minford, Ohio." Not sure how accurate it is, but it says we've had logins from Minford, Cleveland, Chillicothe and Charlotte, NC since it was installed last night.
I will e-mail you the URL this morning.
I would like that URL too, please, thanks
Wow...I love this thing! I put one on my personal blog yesterday evening also. I was starting to get discouraged about my blog because I wasn't getting any comments. This morning, I see that folks from Hong Kong, Belfast (Ireland), Boise, ID and Miami, FL have all taken a peek at my blog. Fantastic. I'll be putting one of these on the Church blog this afternoon. As before, just e-mail me if you want the URL.
Looks like they have a few bugs in their code. Anybody notice they had Mt. Vernon, OH shown over around Maryland or Virginia? Noticed a couple of others out of place as well. Still a neat feature though. I'm planning on making a small donation in a couple of days so that we can get the advertising removed, then I'll be putting a link to the maps online.
