Praise Him All Ye People

This morning, on my way to church, I began noticing the faces of the people who were going the opposite direction on the highway. The mouth of each driver looked like it was singing. Very few people I passed were not singing. I was comforted by this sight realizing what Sundays mean to so many of us.

As I think more about those few people who were not singing, I have to wonder if they even know what it is that they're missing out on. My mood was set right for the whole rest of the day at the sight of people giving praise to God. All of this happened before I ever even walked through the doors of the church building! God is so amazing! He can touch us and receive praise from us wherever we are. The only time it gets better, while here on earth, is when we all get together and do it all at once!

Oh how wonderful!

Interesting post, but how do you tell if the person is really singing or perhaps just having an animated conversation with someone else in the car...or themselves?

Most of them were by themselves. They could have been having an argument with themselves I suppose. ;) It actually never even crossed my mind that they could have been talking or singing. I just really got the impression that they were singing. I suppose they could have been listening to secular music too, instead of Christian music. I just never thought about it. I tend to look at the positive and assume the best in people. Sometimes that can get me in trouble, but for the most part, it's very healthy to do things that way. Look on the brighter side of things. In my perception of things, they were all listening to Christian music and singing to the top of their lungs to the Lord. ;);)
