Here are 3 links to congregations which promote small group ministries. These are examples of how larger congregations promote and manage small group ministries. I hope this will provide some good examples of how this might look.
Check them out at let us know what you think.

Quote for the day---
"While the kind of structure a church has does not cause growth, it does control the rate and the size of the growth. And every church must eventually decide whether it is going to be structured for control or structured for growth. This is one of the most crucial decisions your church will ever face."

I really liked what I read on each website, Jason. I couldn't help but feel excited as I looked down through the list of ministries each website gave. I personally think it would be wonderful to start doing small group ministries at Sunshine. Our community and congregation will benefit greatly in more ways than one.
Thank you for posting those links.
Jennifer
One thing I did notice -- tell me if I'm mistaken--is that those congregations seemed a good bit larger than Sunshine. For one, they are in more suburban areas with a more diverse attendance. In those areas, there tend to be many more cultures represented, more single folks, and a greater diversity of Christians in general.
Obviously environment and demographics is a major factor in just how many directions a congregation can take in involving folks. Good post - I really enjoyed the websites.
I also enjoyed the websites. I agree with Eric that these appear to be larger churches with probably more community resources. But there is nothing wrong with setting high standards. Plus a lot of these ideas could work on a smaller scale. For example I saw a link to Angel ministries, we know that this can work.
Thanks for the links,
Aaron
