First off I want to say that we arrived safely in Haiti along with all of our luggage and supplies! Everyone wishes to tell their families that they love them and miss them.
To Jodi and the girls - Aaron misses you very much and he is fine.
To Sam - I'm keeping an eye on Karen for you and she sends her love.
To Candi - Matthew and I are fine and we send our love to you and Morgan.
Kristine and the girls - Jason misses you and is well.
To the Dixon family - Mike is fine and sends his kisses and love.
To Mark and the girls - Brandy is fine and doing very well. She misses you very much!
We have been in Port au Prince, but will be leaving tomorrow so we most likely will not be able to send anything else until Friday evening (if at all)
The mission is going very good. We have had over 400 people treated so far! We have so many stories to tell. The daily letters you sent are wonderful and inspiring.
The abject poverty in Port au Prince is staggering! The people are wonderful, spirited and we have made many, many friends both Haitian and American! God is blessing our efforts for sure! Tomorrow we are traveling to the country side for two more days of medical clinics. On Friday we will most likely be going to an orphanage rather than the ocean. We are all overwelmed!
Aaron say to tell you the toilets in Haiti flush clockwise like in the US!
Matthew may be bringing home a bride!
We have seen so many children we would like to bring home with us!
I can't get any pictures to load but we will have many to share with you when we get home.
Please continue to pray for us and our mission!

Dear Scott, Matthew and all the rest. We were very please to hear from you and to know that things are going well. Matthew cannot have any girl friends without MAMAW's approval. We are praying for all of you and know that God has his hand in keeping you all safe and watching over you during this time in Haiti. I am so very proud of all of you. Candi had dinner with us tonight. She is fine. Love you - MOM
LOVE ONE ANOTHER
It's SOOOO good to hear from you all!! I miss you guys! I'm thrilled to find out that you're going to an orphanage instead of the beach! If you can, bring me home another baby!
Jennifer
Thank you all for your comments. Like I said, we are full of stories and we are so busy! We get up before 6:00 am and have clinic all day, then dinner, then pack things and get ready for the next day. It is tiring yet very rewarding! The people of Haiti are wonderful people and very loving (if they don't kill you!) It is so hot here! We just found a computer to use this evening! We love you all! There are many people wanting to use the computer tonight so we can't send alot of information now. There is no way to describe the poverty of this country and what these people do to survive... and yet we are still in the capitol city, one block from the "White House" presidential palace! I understand tomorrow will be worse poverty than what we have seen so far. We have hundreds of pictures and stories to share when we get home. All our love to you in the states!
PS. Electric is a real problem in Haiti. you never know when it will go off or come back on. Most people only get 8 hours of electric a day, it's just you don't know when those 8 hours will be. The church where we have the clinic runs on generators most of the time when they are not out of gas! The computer could go off any moment! Love you all!
Scott
Let Brandy know that me and the girls really miss her very much. Cannot wait until she gets back home. Love you Brandy.

Hey Scotty G -
Kristin, Kendall, and I want to let you know that we have been - and will continue to pray for all of you. We are thankful for your safety and success, and we will ask God to bless the rest of the trip with much more of the same.
We have a great God - and he has a great team in all of you guys in Haiti. We're proud of you - keep serving well - we're praying for his strength and guidance.
We miss you, and love all of you very much!
Alan and I are thinking and praying for you all.

Hi Scott and Matthew. It is so good to hear from you. I am doing fine not freaking out like Matthew said i would be. Morgan sends her love, she was so excited to hear from you. I miss you so very much, been keeping myself very busy. Holding down the fort at work. Can't wait to hear from you again. Praying that God keeps you all very safe and that you all have a wonderful trip.
About Matthew and a bride, we will have to talk about this. HAHA
Take care and i love you very much.
Candi
Dear Scott & Matthew,
We've (Us and our church) been praying for you to have a safe and wonderful trip. I trust God will protect you all and keep you safe while doing his will. We love you! Matthew, the oldest is to be married off first, so bring Morgan a groom! HeeeeHaaaa. Love Mish
Dear Scott and Matthew,

You're all in my prayers too!
Thank you so much for your comments. We are in the village of Mirasbila? now and seeing many more children. The sad thing is that there are so many who need help that we cannot possibly see them all. We have had to turn away mothers who were begging for shoes for their children - and more! We are all doing fine! No one of us has been sick to speak of and the food we have had has been very good.
Candi and Morgan, I love you very much and cannot wait to get home to you! Matthew, says the same.
The Lord is looking over us here and we will be fine!
Love, Scott
Scott and the Gang, thanks for the update. We are praying for all of you daily. Sounds like God is blessing you with a great trip on His behalf. So you think it's hot in January. Try Haiti in July. That's hot. Good luck, Matthew, getting your bride back to the States. I hope she folds in at least three places so that she can fit in the luggage. Steve M.
Hello everyone,
I finally got to a computer. Someone please tell Kristine that I love her and I miss here and ... (well, never mind, I tell her that myself).
It has already been said, but I'll say it again. Words cannot describe what we have experienced. We ride a bus from the hotel to the clinic site each day. As we drive through town and country, we just scan (with our eyes) as quickly as possible. There is some much to see, so many things I have never seen before.
Two biblical statements come to mind:
To whom much is given, much is expected.
It is hard for the rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.
One more thing, experience the absolute void of materials has opened my understanding of what materialism truly is.
Anyway, the Sunshing group is holding strong. We all know it is because of the support of you all, both the letters and especially your prayers. In that sense, it is like the whole congregation is here.
Thank you all
To our spiritual warriors--
The kind of poverty and desperation you've witnessed this past week has no doubt taken an emotional toll and probably will continue to for awhile. I'm sure all of you knew this before you went, and yet you still had the courage and the love for Christ and his children to step out of your comfort zones and do this great work. I cannot put into words how proud I am of all of you. We're praying tonight for safe travel--for angels beneath the wings of the plane bringing you home to us. Now, get some rest so you'll be strong enough to endure everyone at Sunshine wanting to hug your neck Sunday morning! Love to all of you.
