Prayer for Grant Kallner

Please pray for Grant and the Kallner family. I copied this statement from Jamie's blog with a little update:

I want to ask anyone who reads this to please pray for Grant Kallner. Grant was born May 5th to Aaron and Jodi Kallner, and shortly after birth he began suffering with respiratory distress. He was transferred to Cabell Huntington Hospital, while Jodi was still recovering at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Jodi has now been released from the hospital and able to be with Grant and Aaron, Praise God!

Thank you all very much for the prayers. As I type I am down the hall from my son. He is sleeping peacefully and that is very much a relief. His breathing is not labored at this time and again is a relief. For now things look good. He still has a lot of healing to do, but I know that God will take care of that. Grant has been through a lot, but he is a tough little guy, he gets that from his mother.

Your prayers and thoughts have been wonderful. I thank you for the comments and I thank you for the ones who have read and prayed. Please continue to keep Grant and my family in your prayers. My wife is recovering as well as expected, Abbie and Ellie are confused and worried as you would expect an eight and a five year to be. I am OK.

We ask that you pray for his health. That his lungs now develop as they need to and that any infection will clear. Also pray that he gets to come home soon, they say that it can be anywhere from 5 days to two weeks. We like the five days better. But God is in control and his timing is perfect.

In God's love,

Aaron

We are praying for little Grant while we're here in Reno at a national conference with two students. Hope he is home with his little sisters real soon. By the way, love the name. Our great nephew is named Grant Henry after his great grandfather Hawkins. Love to your family. Sharon
