If you read my post from last Sunday night (Thoughts On Adapting), you'll recall that I was somewhat dissatisfied with the materials provided for the home group studies due to the abundance of teens in our group. Marriage enrichment stuff doesn't get many comments from the peanut gallery.
With that in mind, I went over the material today and revised it to fit a broader audience while still keeping with the overall theme. If any of you need material for teens in your group, click here for a PDF file of the major part of this week's material. I'll try to do this for the remaining 3 sessions also...no promises though. It's also available for download from the church homepage, just click on the house icon near the bottom of the page.

I noticed from the time of your post, that you were definitely banking on that extra hour of sleep.
Actually it was around 3:30 a.m. before I finally hit the sack. Usually I'm out by 11 p.m. but once in a while I burn the midnight oil. I guess that's the ADHD comming out in me...I was updating my personal blog among other things and just lost track of time :)
Thank you Al, I must say that the material for this session leaves much to be desired for a home group application. For one thing there is just way too much lesson to possibly cover in the time allowed. We pick thru the material to cover a few of the points... and really are not getting the full message of the material.
And I don't see the benefit in telling couples that they need to kind to each other and also communicate. Hey, the ones who do communicate don't need to hear it AGAIN, and the ones who don't - need ALOT more than these lessons can give. I mean we have several people in our group who come to church without their spouses. Their spouses don't want to change to make things better and they are not hearing the lesson either. These lessons really don't apply to them. We told one poor lady who was complaining about her situation "Sorry, I guess there's not much you can do to improve that." ...kind of disheartening.
The fellowship is good tho!
