Monday morning is not usually a good time for me. Today, however, I feel good. I'm sitting here in the office listening to Toby Mac (Dewey gave me the cd yesterday) and visiting with Sister Marie. Sister is not yet a Toby Mac fan. She asked me if I was becoming a black person, to which I replied, "Toby Mac is white." Anyway, I think she's warming up to it.
I had a good weekend and I thank God for it. There were many things going on and I was on-call here at the hospital-it was a formula for disaster. By the grace of God, all went well, I even feel refreshed a renewed.
Four guys met Sunday morning prior to services and prayed for the work of the congregation plus various specific needs. This has been going on, off-and-on, for awhile, but yesterday it really seemed significant. I believe with all my heart that great things will come about amidst the Sunshine congregation, but it will depend on faithful people calling on the name of Jesus to carry us along. Next Sunday is the GYAT meeting, but the following week we'll be back at it (7:30-8:30am-upstairs office). Consider yourself invited.

I just noticed that some new folks have joined to blog team- That's great. Make yourselves at home. If you need some guidance navigating around the site, making posts, etc; email me , Al, or Scott.
Hey Jason,
If your listening to Tobey Mac, then your not listening to K Love, because he does not sing with Thrird Day. Just joined the blog sight and was reading through prior blogs. I will say that our home group seems to be a little repetitive with other stuff we have been doing, but we have had good discussions with-in our group. So that is one positve. Just thought I would add my two cents worth. Nothing new here, just finishing my lunch and ready for the afternoon. Hope God blesses you all.
Well, this is the second comment I've wrote to this subject, the first didn't post for some reason. Anyway, I suggest some sweet tones of Kirk Franklin (He IS black, along with his choir) they do some great mellow, very inspiring songs that to me seem REAL. But they do get into a Holy funk now and then!
Glad you had a good weekend. As did I.
Sorry I missed the prayer session but got busy Sat night preparing for worship and stayed out a little too late. I used up my extra hour then (set my clock back at the actual time - 2:00 am.)
Actually Aaron, Toby Mac does sing with Third Day! They were on tour together when we took the bus to their concert in Columbus. Mack and Toby are old buddies of mine!Ha Ha.
Scott
Scott,
I do apologize, I did not know you and Toby were so tight. I'll try to educate myself better before blogging. Ha Ha
Have a good day.
PS I enjoyed the service yesterday.
