The plusical was a success!

Plusical = play + musical

"Who would send a child" was a tremendous effort. As one of the few who had absolutely nothing to do with it, I would like to congratulate all who were apart of its showing. The singing was superb, those on stage both adults and children were wonderful. It was really a great effort. I was proud of our congregation for seeing it through. Praise God and thank you.

What were some of your impressions about the plusical?

Very well done, indeed! As you said, the singing was superb! Costumes and staging were tremendous. I had a little bit of trouble seeing the little fellers that weren't up on the stage, but otherwise a great production.

Oh...I don't think "plusical" is a legitimate word...reminds me of "Seussical," a musical based on the works of Ted Geisel (Dr. Seuss). I think "musical" would suffice as an accurate description of the presentation. :-)

I'm very sorry I missed the whole thing. My dad's family was having a Christmas party the same night at 6:00pm and I had a terrible time trying to decide which one to go to. Something you will notice about me is that I will always end up choosing my family over anything else. The only thing is, the church is very much so my family as well. I felt as though I had two kids who were involved in something like sports and I had to make a decision as to which child's game I was going to go to and support. There just really isn't any easy answer.

I really wish someone would tell me all about the play and what they saw and who did what. Grandma gave me a program so I could see who was in it but it just isn't the same. Maybe someone could post something on here telling me and everyone else who missed it what happened. It's ok if you can't though. Really.

I do have to say, even though I missed the play, that I would love to see us go back to putting all the children on the stage doing the whole performance instead of mixing in some adults. To me, there's just something wonderful about children acting it all out. They learn by doing. And that is priceless.

Just my thoughts. ;)

I noticed that the 'plusical' was being taped. Maybe you can still see it.

The children were great, but I thought it was great that such a diverse slice of the congregation was represented. Personally, that was one of the greater features of the program. Of course, the singing was exceptional.

Hey I think Al's guy has a right eye strabismus or at least the crook-eye. That's just my professional opinion.
