"hello from Haiti tell everyone at church we are here and ok.

Well, who would have thunk it!! :) I checked my personal email so many times, and today I checked my work email. I didn't even know Dewey knew that address... :) He has never sent anything to it.
Thought I'd share, Kristi

K,

All is well. We are at the hotel and sorting gift bags. Hope you and the boys had a great day. Talk to you soon.

Love,
D

Email from Dewey:

Church was amazing.
We are picking up rocks (millions and millions) at the complex. Not hard but really HOT!
Everybody is doing great including Scott - he is very tough.
Haiti is so much like Honduras that I can't really believe it.

It's great hearing everyone is there and doing well. :)

I got to talk to Dewey very briefly tonight. He said that they are all doing well, and that Scott is holding up fine. He said that Terry is 'rocking the pharmacy' there, and he suspects that Terry is officially addicted to missions. The medical team has already seen 180 kids! They are traveling an hour and a half to get to the site where Dewey is working---that takes them 26 miles at top speeds of 18 miles/hour. They have devotionals before and after their work day.... I guess that's about it, but I thought I'd share with you.

I love Dewey's term "rocking" the pharmacy....and yet I have no doubt that Terry is doing just that! How thrilling to hear that he suspects that Terry is officially addicted to the greatest work the world has to offer.

Beautiful news, Kristi!

I have been in contact with Mike the whole time and didn't think to come here and blog it, sorry! The first time Mike called me was when he, Scott and Candi made it to the airport in Cinci. Then he called me as they were leaving Miami. He text my cell when they made it to Haiti to let me know he was safe. So we got online and talked through yahoo messanger. He told me they would have to be back to the hotel early on sunday because of a carnival. They were going to watch from the hotel windows. He also said they were hot and sweaty but fine. Then I heard from him again on Tuesday, he said he was extremely tired. They had seen 198 kids on monday and 106 that day. So we just told him we loved him and let him go to bed! We have provided a way for some of the family members to contact their loved ones by our cellphone. It cost some, but it is worth the smiles on their faces to let them talk and hear the voice of the ones they miss. I hope and pray that someday I can do more for my church family and freinds. It makes me feel so good to help bring joy, love, and peace to people I love. I will update you again tomorrow when I get a chance. God bless

I almost forgot, Mike said he was on the work group today instead of the medical team. He told me he was brused and tired. They had to ride in a truck-like vehicle and the seats were metal! So he made the comment that his bottom was sore and mostlikely black and blue! Lol! He had fun yet was so tired that we only talked for three minutes. He said he might not contact me tomorrow, but would let me know when he got back to the states. I think he said they would be in the states on saturday and I would need to pick him up at around one in the morning on sunday. That should be fun with two kids!lol! I cant wait to see him though! Well, I will update when I hear more!
